Anxious Aamir Khan Organises 6 AM Screening Of Dangal For Himself!
Aamir did not want to wait till the premiere of Dangal to watch it on a 70 mm screen, so he decided to call in a special favour for an early morning screening
While the rest of
Bollywood was busy slumbering after an awards night, Aamir Khan woke up
at 5 AM and drove to the home of Nitesh Tiwari, the director of
Dangal.
They then picked up
Satyajit Pande, the film's Director of Photography and two other close aides of
Aamir and drove straight to PVR Juhu.

Aamir had organised
a special screening of the film because he did not want to wait till the
premiere to see the magnum opus on the big screen. He has spent the past two
years immersed in Dangal and now he wanted to see the final product on the
silver screen. No, he could not wait any longer.
Ravi Sibal, General
Manager of PVR Juhu, was also present there with them.
Sakshi Tanwar and
the debutantes of the film, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra who play his
onscreen daughters, were presumably still in bed when Aamir drove back home
at 8.45 AM.

Before leaving,
Aamir asked Ravi, "How much do you think it will make on its first
day?"
To which Ravi
replied confidently, "Rs 30 crore. I did not realise when the two hours
went by. This will be the film of the year."
Aamir has gone all
out to promote the film, including singing and rapping a special version of
Dhaakad (Aamir Khan Sings, Raps And Dances In The Latest Version of Dhaakad, Dec 18).
The superstar had
even made an appearance on Koffee With Karan to promote the film. He had got
candid about his anxiety too and said: "Last three weeks before a
film, I can't sleep at all. I need people around me. I call Jaggu, he
stays in my building. I have tested the film by showing it to 500 people till
now. I am nervous. But until people see it, I won't relax."
It looks like Aamir
won’t sleep a wink for the next three days. We are willing to bet our last
shirt on that!
